At last, all of the blustery days are behind us and beautiful weather is coming. I hope everyone is as excited about Superbowl Sunday as I am. Well, the teams that are playing, are not exactly my picks for the top two contenders, but I love watching the Superbowl every year. The commercials alone, are a good reason to tune in.
May 10, will be here before you know it, and we will have another great group of graduates crossing the stage. I am so excited, because I am one of them! My time here at ACC has just flown by, and I am kind of sad to see it end. I have been thinking of taking a couple of courses next semester, since there are some classes that would enhance my degree. Now I need to decide what my next adventure will be.
My best advice to all of the students is to get involved. Whatever you are interested in, there is an organization for you. I have been a student ambassador for two semesters now and I am currently President of Phi Theta Kappa; because of my willingness to get involved, I have made so many wonderful friends and had the chance to get acquainted with some of the faculty here. It is a proven fact, that the more involvement a student has with their college, the better their grades are. I know that my grades are definitely a reflection of my involvement and dedication to ACC. I have even had the opportunity to wear the "Blue" mascot suit. Get out and support our athletes. I know I am looking forward to watching some baseball and softball games. Go Dolphins!
I look forward to seeing everyone around campus, and remember if you ever need assistance with anything, there are nine ambassadors who are ready and willing to help.
