This week

Hey It is Nicole,

Today at the student center here at ACC, we had a program call " More than an Egg" It was something cool. If you ever saw the Passion of Christ, they showed some clips from the movie. Scott sang some songs that where pretty cool. I thought it was amazing to be able to live in a country, even having a school where you are allowed to bring all followers of Christ together as one big body of Christ.

This past Friday Kat and I were at a Baseball game. We almost got hit a few times.

Classes are going really well for now, I made an 80 on a paper which makes me really happy. When it comes to writing some papers, it's kinda hard for me. But I'm doing better.

Well I'm going home to enjoy this 4-day weekend

Wheels and Waves Event at Pearland Town Center

I really enjoyed working this event, the wind was kind of harsh but there were plenty of people to try to recruit & the spinning wheel worked great for the kids!

Where did the week go??

Hey it's Nicole!

Well it's Wednesday night and I'm sitting up at the school. I just got caught up on my lab work, so I can pass my test tomorrow. Midterms were this week for me, anyway I only have two test and I did "ok" on my math. Mainly it was me making some math errors but who doesn't forget to make it to a negative instead of a positive?

Me!

With me doing "OK" on my math, I know I could have done better. A wise man once said "In the long run the grade will fade away-how you react and try to become a better person because of it does not."

So I just keep that in mind when I fail a test or do not do so well on it. I learned through the years the grade will fade away but I do not need to stress out about making a poor grade because down the road it will not matter.

That was Monday I took my test, and I did try my best on it I study for it and that is all my teacher asked me to do is study and be prepared for it and I was. Tomorrow I will have a Computer Science test for lab which I do not really like because of it being on the computer.

What happened to paper and pencil tests ? Is that only for the final and math? What has this world come to? Doing everything on the computer?

There are some things I do like about doing my class work on the computer like writing my essays and even the math homework because I know what I am doing wrong.
Well I've been writing so many papers. This paper I just finished is my third or fourth one, I lost count after the second one. :)

Well besides school, I went to see an AWESOME concert Sunday Night! Heather and I went to go see Wayne Kerr. It was awesome! We got our CD's signed. Wayne is a real nice young man, he said some real heart-breaking stories that made me cry!!!

Well I should be off to study for my test tomorrow,

WOW !!! Can you believe it it is already Thursday?

I have been somewhat busy with my classes but I'm just busy altogether. I just barely finished my paper about the three teachers who impacted my life. It is a lot harder than I would have expected. You would figure it would be easy, since the teachers did impact my life. Oh but I was wrong... It took me all weekend to write it and then a few other days to put it all together.

When it came down to it I was over a thousand words oops. Then to top it all off, the other day I lost my USB-stick (whatever it is called). So all my stuff is gone. :( It had my labs, papers, etc. I just hope I can find it soon.

Well I'm off to do my homework for math..
